This is a question that I’ve always wondered.
In my Style Series posts, I look at different ways of styling one piece. For example, a plain white t-shirt. You can pair it with jeans, with skirts, under shirts or on its own. A lot of different options, right?
But what if that flexibility was stripped away? What if you only had one outfit, but unlimited accessories? Are there lots of different ways to style up this one look? Or does it end up just looking the same, because, let’s face it – it is the same.
Take this outfit for example, a current favourite of mine.
The word ‘organic’ springs to mind. The greens and browns compliment each other, and yes, I’m totally OK with the fact that I resemble a tree!
Style notes: This lightweight sweater was a new addition for my Spring wardrobe, and I must say, I am loving it. It falls so nicely when left un-tucked like this. I kept the sleeves long and simple, with just a couple of small, neat rolls. I love the cognac accessories paired with this jumper and black jeans!
So, will this look have a totally different feel to it once I change up the styling and accessories a little? Let’s see, shall we?
Have you ever tried different styling tricks on the same outfit? What was the outcome? I’d love to hear your stories!
