Spring 10×10 remix | Outfit 9

dungarees (similar) + linen mix jumper + converse

Here we are at the penultimate day! I don’t know about you, but I still can’t believe how quickly this challenge has gone!

As you may have gathered from yesterday’s post, I’m now at the point where I’m losing a bit of momentum with this challenge. During the Winter challenge, I felt at ease and comfortable with how many options I had to layer, but as I’m not layering as much in Spring I’ve found I’m struggling to come up with new and interesting outfit ideas.

But then I remind myself, it’s about having fun and experimenting, and if you find something new along the way then great!

So I’m taking the pressure off myself. I’m going to focus on outfits that I enjoy wearing, that I feel like me in, and not stress about how I ‘have’ to find something brand new for the sake of the challenge.

For example, my decision to include my dungarees as part of this remix. Yes they’re super comfortable. Yes I love wearing them. But actually once they’re on, they don’t look all that different no matter what top you’ve got underneath.

So today’s outfit looks pretty similar to Outfit 2 and Outfit 6, but I’ve made my peace with that!

Style notes: Not too much to say here really! Another plain and comfortable outfit. As the palette of black, grey and white is quite cool, I added some warm tones through it with the rose gold watch and cognac bag. Plus, it’s super practical and I can fit all sorts into that bag – perfect for a day of running errands. Plus, my feet stay comfortable all day in those well worn in Converse!

Focus on: Linen mix jumper

This jumper was a new addition for my Spring wardrobe, and I’m so in love with it! It’s 67% linen, 33% cotton so perfect for this time of year, keeping me cool in the sunshine but also works as a jumper for layering over tops in the evenings. The slash neckline is something different for me, but I love how it sits. I sized up one size (I got it in a UK 12 for reference) and I love the loose oversized fit of it, plus it’s got such a lovely drape when on! I’m also loving the three quarter length sleeves, it’s like they’re pre cuffed and rolled for me! It also comes in a lovely pale blush colour which would be nice for Spring as well.

Have you found yourself repeating outfits, or at least similar looks in this 10×10? Only one more outfit to go! I’m quite excited to get the rest of my wardrobe back!
